Alliance of Laboratory Medicine Innovations
The Alliance of Laboratory Medicine Innovation (ALMI), as a professional group supported by the FLMI, was formed in 2023. 50 professionals from the fields of laboratory medicine, in vitro diagnostics (IVD) industry, and IVD regulatory aspects joined together and formed a group with an aim to provide a communication platform that brings together professionals in this field. Through this platform, our members can learn, collaborate, communicate, and support each other.
As a professional group, we organize webinars, seminars, and meetings for our members to learn and communicate with each other. At the same time, we also represent our members to communicate with other professional groups in the laboratory medicine field. Through these interactions, we aim to promote the exchange of knowledge and ideas, and foster collaborations that will help us achieve our ultimate goal of bridging the gap between research and clinical diagnosis.

As part of our ongoing effort to achieve our goal of bridging the gap between research and clinical use in lab medicine, we organized our inaugural opinion leader forum, the Summit of Lab Medicine Innovations, in 2023. This event was a significant success for our group, and it provided an opportunity for our members to showcase their work, share their experiences, and learn from each other. We are proud of the success of this event, and we look forward to organizing more events like this in the future.
